Om het spel verder te verbeteren zoeken we een nieuwe collega om The West verder te ontwikkelen! We willen deze positie openen voor alle fans om te solliciteren omdat jullie veel van het spel weten!

To improve our game we are currently looking for a new colleague to help us develop The West! We would like to address this opening to our The West fans directly, as we want someone for our team who has an in-depth knowledge of our game and players and is able to incorporate community feedback!
InnoGames is a company that develops and publishes online multiplayer games such as Tribal Wars, The West, Grepolis and Forge of Empires. It was founded in 2007 by the three original creators of Tribal Wars to allow them to make games full-time. We're based in Hamburg, Germany.*
We're a small team that works on improving and maintaining The West and we would like to find an expert programmer on a freelance/home office basis.*Fluency in English is required.

Tasks
- Self-reliant realization of game features, as well as optimization and further development in PHP
- Planning and realization of database structures
- Performance optimization
- Analysis and correction of errors
- Adjusting the architecture
- Optimization of existing processes
- Creatively co-shaping the games you work on by contributing your own ideas
Requirements
- Passion for The West
- Completed training (e.g. as IT Specialist), or a university degree (e.g. in informatics), or comparable experience
- Very good knowledge of object-oriented programming in PHP
- Good knowledge of databases and SQL, ideally PostgreSQL
- Basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and Jquery
- Fluency in English
- Interested in current web technologies
- Solution-oriented, fast way of working, as well as the ability to work under pressure
- A high degree of individual initiative and a high willingness to learn
- Good communication skills, and the ability to work in a team
Desirable:
- Experience in*AngularJS,*NodeJS
- Knowledge of Linux,*Git, Java, nginx, Jenkins, Vagrant
